Nowadays various industries in China develop rapidly. Under this condition theapplication and research of the marketing strategy is bound to be one of the mostimportant tasks for The catering industry, which should seize the opportunities andtake the challenges to get more business value. How to adapt to the requirements ofmarket development is a practical issue that all the catering industry must face to. Thispaper takes Y Hotel in Luoyang City as an example, to discuss the issue about how tomake it obtain more competitive advantages and get a better development in the future.Based on the marketing status of Y Hotel, this paper analyze the existingproblems of the hotel and propose the marketing strategy and developing direction forit through the methods of case analysis, questionnaire survey, STP marketing theories,SWOT analysis and4C analysis. First, make a study of political and economiccondition of Luoyang city, and clearly understand the development status and trends ofthe catering industry in this area. Second, deeply study the marking status of Y Hotelin New District of Luoyang City, and make a analysis about its advantages,disadvantages, potential problems, opportunities and challenges. Based on the deepstudy and analysis of marketing and competition situation and in consideration of theissues such as market positioning, service consciousness, value considerations andelectronic platform application, this paper combines both internal and externalresources to propose a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Y hotel, includingmarket positioning, customer satisfaction, customer cost, customer convenience andsmooth customer communication.This paper is prepared based on the author’s questionnaire survey, field visit,book and internet consulting. Author propose optimization marketing strategy,throughmake more in-depth study for marketing-related issues and causes of the Y Hotel, putscientific analysis to use the marketing theories and methods, combined with the practical application of Luoyang New District. In this paper, the Y hotel can obtain acertain reference value and significance for improvement of marketing level and fightfor their competitive edge in the Segments of the market.
