Due to the impact of the international financial crisis in2008, the global economyexperienced a sharp downturn. After the crisis, the developed countries in the worldwere beginning to reflect and they thought that the deviation between the realeconomy and virtual economy was the important cause of the crisis. So, the theme of"The finance services the real economy" was back to the agenda of development andreform. Now, all of the world pays more attention to the development of the realeconomy. Many cities also begin to financial reform. Following Wenzhou and thePearl River Delta, Quanzhou becomes the third financial comprehensive reform pilotarea, and it revolves around "The finance services the real economy". It can promotethe development of the real economy in Quanzhou.The scholars of domestic and foreign have certain research foundation on therelationship between the finance and the real economy. First, the related literatures athome and abroad are reviewed, and the situation and problems of “the financesupports the real economy” will be analyzed on the basis of related theories. Then theSWOT analysis method is used to analyze the situation of Quanzhou’s shoes andclothing industries which aims to provide reference for the whole real economy.Through the study of the development of the real economy supported by finance inQuanzhou, the conclusions are followed: the finance is closely related to the realeconomy, and their relationship should be understood and handled correctly so thatthe finance services the real economy better. The real economy situation of Quanzhouis good, and the three major indexes mean an optimistic trend. The problems offinancial innovation, the enterprises financing needs and information platform thefolk capital between the banks and the enterprises should be improved. The shoe andclothing industries of Quanzhou have the complete industrial chains and collaboration,and its situation of returned investment is good. But at the same time, the realeconomic problems such as the optimization and upgrading of industrial structureshould be paid attention. Finally, the measures and suggestions will be put forward onthe basis of conclusions of this paper and the real situation of Quanzhou.
