The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of reward system on employeeperformance. This study was conducted in Agogo Presbyterian College of Education, inAgogo. The aim of the study was to identify the reward packages existing in AgogoPresbyterian College of Education, to examine the perception of employees as regards tothe reward system and then examine the effect of reward system on employee attitude.Salaries were identified as the main reward packages that Agogo Presbyterian College ofEducation workers enjoy., it was discovered that the reward systems are consistent.However, indications show that the reward system is not all that transparent, dependable,flexible, and easy to understand. Many respondents said the reward system is notinvolving, that means the employees do not partake in the formation of the reward systemin Agogo Presbyterian College of Education. Finally, it was found that most of theemployees in Agogo Presbyterian College of Education are not punctual at work; they doabsent themselves from work and also have poor commitment towards their work. Thereis also decrease in productivity and employees have no desire to stay in the organization.Based on the findings, the researcher recommended that Management should improveupon some of the reward packages like recognition, promotion, bonuses, pension plan,training and development etc. to enhance productivity. Again provisions should be madefor employees to partake in the formation of the reward system for them to know how thereward system is administered in relation to their performance...
