Research On The Regional Logistics Competitiveness

As a subsystem of logistics, regional logistics has the attribute of economic regions, and itis the study of a specific space of logistics activities. Regional logistics competitiveness is animportant manifestation of regional logistics level and integrated logistics capabilities. It is a regioncompared with its rivals in the process of competition and the development has attracted resources,occupied the market, improved quality, provided services for logistics demanders, and to thedevelopment of regional economy and regional economic integration has a direct impact.Therefore, through the research of regional logistics competitiveness to measure the scale anddevelopment of a regional logistics, accurate the position of its development level, clarify its futuredirection, so that the regional logistics development planning and policy more targeted and effective. It hasa great significance for regional Logistics achieving healthy, stable and coordinated development.This article is based on the above background, through domestic and international logisticsdevelopment and the present situation research, from a regional perspective to build a scientific andreasonable evaluation model and makes an empirical analysis of Shaanxi province.Firstly, through collecting research literature on the competitiveness of regional logisticsand its related theoretical knowledge, gives the definition of regional logisticscompetitiveness, and to explore its connotation and the characteristic; Secondly, by analyzingthe main factors influence regional logistics competitiveness, and combine the characteristicsof regional logistics, build a regional logistics competitiveness evaluation model, mainlyincluding the strength of the regional logistics and the development potential of regional logistics.Thirdly, compared the merits and suitability of common evaluation methods, this paper selectsShaanxi and other11provinces of the west as a sample and use factor analysis approach and SPSS18.0forquantitative analysis of indicator variables. It is concluded that Shaanxi province ranked fourth in thewestern region, slightly behind the potential competition, Indicating Shaanxi Province shouldremain on its competitiveness, foster competitive potential to accelerate the regional logisticscompetitiveness.Finally, according to the analysis conclusion, this paper proposes to create a favorablelogistics development environment, optimize the industrial structure, build the regional logistics brand, improve the level of information and the construction of logistics information platformto enhance the regional logistics competitiveness of Shaanxi province.
