Restructuring And Verifing Assessment Index Sestem Of Sustainable Agricuture In Northern Area

Northern region is an important grain production base, its level of sustainabledevelopment and development ability is important for our country. Evaluation indexsystem of agriculture sustainable development is a tool for scientific implementingagriculture sustainable development, and is a technology system to guide the farmsustainable agricultural development. In2010, Unilever launched "Unilever SustainableAgriculture Code", this standard applies to the world, and not all suitable for ouragricultural practices. Referring to this standard, according to restricting factors ofsustainable agricultural development and farming feature of the northern region, operatingindex system of farm’s sustainable agriculture on farm scale as the research object wasbeen trussed. As a guide to build the farm system, regional evaluation system also beentrussed. Ultimately, the evaluation index system of agricultural sustainable development innorthern area on two kinds of scales which area and farm levels was been trussed in orderto better guide sustainable development of agriculture.Firstly, clarifing general procedures and methodologies of establishment of the indexsystem, and analysising the index systems of agriculture sustainable development at homeand abroad on framework/research level/index selection/and implementingevaluation byliterature review and frequency analysis method, worked out that China should strengthenthe research of farm level as well as indicators of ecological dimension, and should studyand establish the index system of sustainable agriculture operations at the farm level farm.Using content analysis and expert advice, therestriction factors of agricultural sustainabledevelopment in northern area were studied,and drawn14major constraints; Through dataresearch and fieldwork, analysising the agricultural characteristics of the northern regionand farm farming habits, reached its characteristics of its major agricultural and farmingpractices. As an indicator selection and assignment of evaluation system provide atheoretical basis.And than, on the basis of the restriction factor of sustainable agriculturaldevelopment on northern region, agricultural characteristics, evaluation index system ofregional agricultural sustainable development in northern China that consists of3subsystems and14indicators were established by analytic hierarchy process and expertadvice. The system is suitable for regional evaluating the level of agricultural sustainable development in northern China, guiding the direction of agricultural development at themacro, used to guide agricultural policy formulation, and guiding the establishment ofoperating index system of farm’s sustainable agriculture on farm scale as the researchobject. Finally, under the guidance of evaluation index system ofregional agriculturalsustainable development in northern China that established above, referring "UnileverSustainable Agriculture Code", according to our country agricultural policy, on the basisof the farm planting conditions and farming practices, through expert consultation,selecting Xinjiang Tunhe tomato farms and Shandong Jinxiang garlic verification farmstest run, established operating index system of farm’s sustainable agriculture on farm scaleas the research object, which the goal is for guiding farmer to how to farming on thewhole crops grow process. System consists of six criteria layers that is agrochemicals andfuel (A), soil (B), Water (C),biological diversity (D), energy (E), waste (F), a total of141indicators. This system is applicable to large, medium, small farms and the tissue types offarming that large areas of contiguous planting in the form of agriculturalcooperatives.Evaluation system both scales complement each other better guidesustainable development of agriculture in northern China.
