Human capital investment can be divided into investment in education human capital and health human capital. For a long time, people often only pay attention to the education human capital investment, treat the education human capital as equivalent to the human capital, and emphasize education investment has important contribution to promote economic growth, while ignoring the equal importance of health human capital investment. Health is the human fundamental, is the basis for all human activities. Health investment can not only make the personal gains good state of health, also have an impact on the development of the whole economy. Because health investment is not only related to micro individual income, but also affect the development of the macro economy. In this paper, the research found that health investment health investment can reduce the financial burden of disease and loss, improve worker labor production capacity, the return of education investment and promote the development of the health industry to produce positive effects on economic growth. Meanwhile, health investment will result in the extrusion of physical capital investment, affect the accumulation of physical capital and cause the problem of population aging, has a negative effect on economic growth. The role of health investment to economic growth also depends on the size of the positive and negative effect.
