After decades of development, the Internet has got into the web2.0period, which means the habit of personal user and traditional enterprise business model have profoundly changed. The Internet economy has become one of the Chinese strong impetus to the social economy and people’s life. The powerful communication function of the Internet has diminished the information asymmetry phenomenon of supply and demand gradually eliminate. The combination of word-of-mouth promotion and virtual community has claimed huge business potential, which devotes to the birth of third party review websites at this very moment. Chinese website "dianping.com", established in2003, is one of the earliest independent third party consumer review websites worldwide. After this, the third-party review website industry has experienced a constant development and business model innovation, which results in the fierce competition. And due to the long tail effect of the Internet business, there is still a big potential market space. However, comparing with the profiting and expanding third party review websites abroad in these years, the third party review websites in China have experienced serious collapse and failure, which reveals serious problems in its regarding business model, thus throughout studies on this aspect stand in a particularly important position.This paper mainly describe four foreign third-party review sites of the current business model from the perspective of business model elements, value of content, target customer, network configuration, business positioning, partnership, isolation mechanism and classification of the profit model. As well through analyse of the development environment of our country at present, the development of the domestic third-party review websites this article seeks to find out their advantages and disadvantages, in order to aide enterprise to review themselves more accurately in macro environment and put themselves in a more accurate position. Through analyse and studies on foreign successful website operation strategy and business model, combining with its own domestic environmental factors, the internal and external driving force, analyzes of the main value distribution of review sites in our country, and through the value distribution of third-party review websites, Chinese third party review websites shall find out their own method of value innovation and develop their own business model. At last, through the empirical analysis of website "dianping.com", this article applies previous mentioned strategies to input innovative opinions for its better function and development.This paper follows the development trend of the third party review sites, strives to reveal the real problems, strengthens the practical significance of the research, tries to devote practical yet innovative opinion on development of business model and supplements its regarding past studies, in hope of being able to devote helpful reference to the development of the domestic third-party review websites in China.
