Tudy On The Concentration Ratio Of Audit Market Of The Neeq Listed Companies

In this paper, we take accounting firms which are stock-auditing qualified as the subject of the research, and choose accounting firms which are stock-qualified without the "big four", and the whole Neeq listed companies they audit in2012as the statistical samples. In this paper, we have tested and analyzed the Neeq listed companies’ audit market concentration ratio by the relevant data that Neeq listed companies disclosed, and studied the impact of the rank of accounting firm to their market share.This paper is divided into five parts. This paper starts with an introduction that introduces the background, the significance of this research and some theories. In this chapter, we also reviews the internal and external paper over audit market. Chapter two proposes audit market and audit market concentration ratio index, and also introduces the background economic knowledge of those index. In chapter three, we choose the total assets and the number of clients to calculate the concentration ratio, and also research the accounting firm industry expertise and geographical features in our audit market, to conclude the competition situation of the Neeq audit market. By studies we conclude that, the Neeq audit market is in a fierce competition, which is between the oligarch monopolization and monopolistic competition, and the industries audit markets present low level of concentration, the audit market of Neeq listed companies also has distinctly regional distribution feature. Chapter four studies the impact of the rank of the accounting firm to their performance in the market, and concludes that the performance is better when the rank of the accounting firm is higher. In the last chapter, chapter five, we proposes this paper’s conclusion, limitations and some advice.
