The construction stage of project is the materialized stage of project construction. In thisphase, we need a large amount of capital investment, lots of participators. Meanwhile, thecontent is complicated and the forms are various during this stage. As a result, the follow-upaudit of project will face with increasing challenges and risks at this stage.The follow-up auditof project’s construction stage provides a basis for closing audit after the project is complicated.It is also an important means of project’s cost control, construction and management. Strictlycontrolling the risk of follow-up audit during the construction stage of project, making theproject more standardized, reasonable, and increasing the use value of construction funds,which is of strong practical and economic significance.Since the implementation of the follow-up audit of project in China, we have achievedsome success, but there are still some problems remain. The construction stage of project is ofgreat significance for the whole project. There are many uncertainties which bring about morerisks for follow-up audit during the construction stage of project. Based on this point of view,this article will stand on the construction unit, take the internal audit institutions of constructionunit as subjects,use the method of the combination of theoretical analysis and examples, andborrow the Fuzzy Mathematical Model to make an evaluation and analysis of the risks of thefollow-up audit during the construction stage of project, and further more, discuss the ways ofrisk management.This paper has proposed the purpose and significance of this research. Through the studiesof the forms and the types of risks of the follow-up audit during the construction stage of project,the internal audit risks of construction unit will be divided into internal and external risks. Wewill use quantitative analysis of fuzzy mathematics to evaluate the risks of follow-up audit, thusto provide a guideline for Audit Management and decision-making, to improve the objectivityof audit and reduce the impact of artificial and subjective factors. Meanwhile, through thediscussion of the types of follow-up audit’s risks during the construction stage of project, wewill make a division of the subjects of risk liability; combine with the idea of risk managementof the accounting industry; make a research of how to effectively prevent and control the risksof follow-up audit of project;establish a risk control system; put forward specific measures foraudit risks’ control; and finally provide a guideline for reference for the follow-up audit’ riskmanagement during other stages of project.
