Theodore Schultz once pointed out,“human resource is a sign to measure the overallcompetitiveness of an enterprise. In today with science highly developed, an enterprisewithout talents is just like the stagnant water. Only those enterprises holding the key talentshave an inexhaustible motive force for development.” So to speak, the enterprisespossessing the solidest and widely manpower resources will have a comparative advantagein the increasingly fierce competition. Therefore, it is well acknowledged that humanresources have been the first resource of social and economic development, so how toattract talents, use talents, cultivate talents, and retain talents has been the main content ofhuman resource management in modern enterprises.Since1990s, China private enterprises, especially small and medium-sized privateenterprises have witnessed a rapid development, but in recent years, brain drain hasbecome a serious challenge faced by small micro-enterprises. One of the important reasonsis that China private enterprises, especially those small micro-enterprises, still exist manyproblems in the management concept and system of human resources. Therefore, it isnecessary for the sustainable development of private enterprises in china to conduct acomprehensive review on the current situation of HRM, and to make an adjustmentaccording to the development stage of enterprise.Taking the HRM status of Jiangsu Jintan BH company as a research object, this paperelaborates the background meaning of the research, the relevant concept and its theoreticalfoundations, briefly introduces BH company and its HRM status, examines the problemsexisting in HRM through the analysis of human resource management status of Jiangsu JintanBH company, and at last, puts forward the effective methods to solve the above problems.
