Gender wage gap has been one o f the the mes of labor economics.In the p lannedecono my period,the gender wage gap is sma ller.After the imp le mentation of marketecono mic polic ies,ge nder wage gap is growing,so research about it is growing.Scho lars exp la in the causes of the gender wage differences ma in ly fro m theperspective o f human cap ita l,market discr imination, market segme ntation andcompe nsatio n angle.However, huma n cap ital a nd gender discrimination accounted fora big ro le in the end,This requires further measure.Most research has focused on totalresearch and mea n research,but it can’t measure d ifference in d ifferent incomedistr ibutions.This paper uses quantile regressio n model to analyze it,which is deeperand more comprehe ns ive.the n uses the improved mea n Neumark wage decompos itionand Melly quantile decomposition method,carrying out mean wa ge decomposition anddecompositio n on each of the inco me distr ib ution.On the data selected,this pape usesChina Health and Nutr itio n Sur vey (CHNS) in the year of2011,the latest sur veydata,compar ing the mixed data in the year of2000,2004and the mixed data in the yearof2006,2009,better grasping of the dynamic trend of the gender wage gap.In the year of2011,educatio n le vel and househo ld factors narrowed the wage gapabout wo men caused by the huma n capita l;work experience,state-owned units andcollective institutions s ignifica ntly widened the wage gap caused by huma n capita lbetween men a nd wo men.Co mpared with wage decomposition in the year of2011,theregio na l factors,the years of education, militar y,other specia l occupation have littleeffect in human capita l in the mixed data in the year of2000,2004and the mixed datain the year of2006,2009; work experience,ma nage ment a nd senior technica l staffhave big impact in it.In the mean decomposition and quantile decompos ition,the ge nder discr iminationis the root cause of wage differences.total gender wage differences showed adownward trend a fter the first r ise.Quantile decomposition on wa ge differentia lsshows that middle-income stratum is lar gest while high-income stratum is least in theyear of2011;high-inco me stratum is largest in the mixed data in the year of2000,2004,while low-income stratum is largest in the mixed data in the year of2006,2009.
