Intelligent ammeter is one of the intelligent terminal and infrastructure of the smart grid, promotion and replacement of the intelligent ammeter is a basic work of the construction of strong smart grid. Our country will change about170million intelligent ammeters in the next five years, large-scale changing of intelligent watt-hour meter will lead to electric power company measuring centers’ warehouse inventory increased and its distribution network expended continually. Improving the quality and efficiency of the intelligent ammeter logistics work, and reducing logistics cost has become an important logistics management task what is electric power company facing.This paper mainly focuses on, from the perspective of system theory and integration, two stages logistics distribution network system of the intelligent ammeter from the warehouse to the distribution center, again from the distribution center to retail locations of. Researching the logistics system of inventory control and distribution transport integrated optimization (ITIO) problem, and using the genetic algorithm system to solve the integration problem, in order to seek the optimal solution of power metering center inventory control and distribution integrated optimization problem.This paper introduces the logistics process of the intelligent ammeter, and describes previous research on inventory and distribution problem. Second, it analyses the model about inventory and distribution of ammeter, and sets (R, S) inventory replenishment control strategy, establishes two models for inventory and distribution. In consideration of the actual inventory requirements、routing optimization, this paper establishes the mathematical model of the ITIO problem whose goal is the final total cost minimization. The problem is a NP problem, which is difficult to derive exact solutions in classical methods, the paper set some assumptions for reducing the complexity, and the model was simplified. Finally, the paper design a set of model algorithm, and solve the actual case of the intelligent ammeter inventory and distribution, Results show that application of the improved genetic algorithm can stably get the approximate optimal solution of the ITIO problem.
