A Research On Development Of Beef Cattle Industry In Kezuohouqi

Cattle industry is the most traditional and dominant industry in Inner Mongolia,with great potentional for development.In recent years,with the sustained development of economy in our country and improvement in the living standards of the national diet, beef consumer market has been formed and expanded unceasingly.Under this situation, the beef industry in our country has entered a rapid development stage.As a leading industry,kerchin zuoyihouqi of Tongliao in Inner Monglia has achieved some success in promoting the development of the cattle industry.But in the process of developmet,they met with many difficulties and problems,and the main problems are the extensive management of cattle industry;management of small-scale scattered farmers and herdsmen,and weak basic facilities. Due to these reasons,it is difficult to form large-scale production.The others are the serious degeneration and desertification of grassland,shortage of forage,high prices of production,and the prevention and treatment of diseasea are not perfect.In this paper,starting from the problems the cattle industry is facing and the awareness of crisis,the author analyzes the development environment of cattle industry in Kezuohouqi by the investigation of present situation,and the author also uses the comparative analysis and SWOT analysis to analyze the state of supply and demand of beef and finally she puts forward some suggestions.The suggestions she proposed are:The first one is to support the formation of a new business in rural and pastoral areas of the body. The second is to broaden the financing channels for agricultural and pastoral areas.The third, the grassland ecosystem should be coordinated with the development of the beef industry.The fourth, improve the beef industry chain business form of organization.The fifth, develop and grow,"leading enterprises."The main conclusion of this paper is the level of consumption of meat in our country is improving steadily,but the productin structure of meat is not co-ordinated very well with the consumption,mainly. because the proportion of pork is very high and beef and mutton is gravity low.Kezuohouqi beef industry has a larger developing market but it is confronted with many difficulties.Leading enterprises are playing a positive role in promoting regional beef industries.But to throughly overcome the weakness of production and management of peasant household is to actively develpoe the new operating systems.
