A Study On The Coordinated Development Of Tourism Industry And Urbanization In Henan Province

Tourism industry and urbanization as two sub-systems in the social economic system play an important role on the development of human. The current study of the tourism industry and urbanization is less; most of the existing researches focus on the influence of tourism industry development to the town’s development, or the urbanization process plays the role of tourism industry development. In recent years, research on the interactive development about them began to increase, no longer limited to a particular problem in isolation, begin to view problems as a system, understand the nature of problems occurrence and development, and have been achieved initial results. But most of the research on coupling relationship between city tourism industry and urbanization are case study, lack of the transverse comparison study between different cities Under the Regional background, the coupling relationship between the two, the way of coupling, the coupling mechanism is also lack of deep understanding. Therefore, this paper based on the system theory, the coordinated development theory, growth pole theory and sustainable development theory as the research theoretical basis, on the basis of the connotation of tourism industry and urbanization, using the method of frequency analysis and network survey, combined with the actual situation of Henan province, established the "tourism industry-urbanization" coupling coordination degree index system. With18cities in Henan province as the study area, calculate and analyze the development level of tourism industry and urbanization from2007to2011on the basis of expounding the current development situation and existing problems of tourism industry and urbanization, founding that there is not a simple "high-high" or "high-low" relationship. Establish regression analysis model to calculate the relationship between tourism industry and urbanization, founding that there are nonlinear relationship of Parabolic. By Introducing the coupling coordination degree model on the basis of discussing the interaction mechanism and the way of coupling development between tourism industry and urbanization, calculate quantitatively the coordinated development level of tourism industry and urbanization of18cities in Henan in2007-2011. Reference the division standards of coupling coordination degree of Liao zhongbin, combined with the characteristic of the research object, and the development level of tourism industry and urbanization in Henan province, the calculation results are hierarchies, divide the calculation results which is divided into disorder, harmonious two categories, including extreme disorder, serious disorder, moderate disorders, mild disorder, mild coordination, intermediate coordination, good coordination. Calculation results show that the coupling coordination degree of tourism industry and urbanization in Henan province can be roughly divided into four levels:good coordinate city Zhengzhou; mild coordination city Jiaozuo and Luoyang; mild disorder city Anyang, Xinxiang, Jiyuan, Kaifeng, Xuchang, Pingdingshan, Sanmenxia, Nanyang and Xinyang; moderate disorders city Shangqiu, Zhoukou, Zhumadian,Luohe, Puyang and Hebi. Get three conclusions through carrying out Space-time analysis on the evaluation results:one is that the state of the overall development level in a mild disorder; two is that on the spatial distribution, the coupling coordination development level of tourism industry and urbanization in Henan province with Zhengzhou is the core, Luoyang and Jiaozuo as two wings, the coupling coordination degree level performance for lower gradient; three is that on the time series, the coupling effect between tourism industry and urbanization in the whole province although no performance on Level changes obviously, and most of the cities of the coordination level did not change, but the coupling coordination degree average rising every year, showing that the province’s coupling effect between tourism industry and urbanization is to coordinate development In gradually. Finally based on the results of the analysis, puts forward some countermeasures for the overall support from macroscopic aspect, and puts forward some concrete improvement measures for each coordination degree level, in order to provide a new research ideas and theoretical support about the tourism industry and urbanization development in Henan province.
