Nuclear power, as one kind of economical, safe and clean energy, plays animportant role in economic development. The emergence of nuclear power providesan effective way to solve the energy crisis and environmental crisis of human, whichgets national attention. The rapid development of nuclear power plants in Chinaforecasts that the total installed capacity of nuclear power will reach33.8millionkilowatts in2017, which means China will become the third largest nuclear powercountry in the world. The safe operation of nuclear power plants is the most importantissue of its development in our country, and its long-term safe and stable operationdirectly indicates the level of nuclear technology. The staff of nuclear power plantscan enhance their technological capabilities through professional and technicallearning, whose effect of learning will affect the safety of its operation. Aiming toresearch the factors affecting technological learning about nuclear power plants thatmake reasonable recommendations for improving staffs’ technological capabilities,which is also the starting point of the research.Choosing technological learning and knowledge theory as the theoretical basisand summarizing the research of factors affecting technological learning aboutnuclear power plants combined with the spiral knowledge creation theory, constructs amodel of analyzing the factors affecting technological learning about nuclear powerplants and tries to explain the internal mechanism of improving the technical capacityabout nuclear power plants operation in our country.The structural equation model(SEM) is used to do the path analysis andconfirmatory factor analysis to survey relevant data to test the hypothesis model. Theresults showed that ‘acquisition of knowledge’,‘dissemination and sharing ofknowledge’ and ‘integration and using of knowledge’ these three factors had a significantly positive impact on the technical capacity of nuclear power plants;‘learning capability’ of nuclear power plants had a significantly positive impact on‘acquisition of knowledge’,‘dissemination and sharing of knowledge’ and‘integration and using of knowledge’;‘knowledge properties’ of learning contentshowed a dramatically negative impact on the behavior of technological learningprocess on nuclear power plants;‘information technology’ showed a dramaticallypositive impact on ‘acquisition of knowledge’,‘dissemination and sharing ofknowledge’ and ‘integration and using of knowledge’;‘learning attitude’ had adistinct impact on ‘acquisition of knowledge’ and ‘dissemination and sharing ofknowledge’ while a weak impact on ‘integration and using of knowledge’. Finally, onbasis of the research results, the author provided some suggestions on enhancing thetechnological learning effects on nuclear power plants from four aspects of learningability, learning attitude, knowledge properties and information technology.
