E-banking is a new service that originated by the end of last century. As the changeand fierce competition in the banking industry, E-banking, which originally developedfrom computer based net-banking to cellphone based mobile-banking,has become one ofthe major focuses in banks. In this development, progress has been attained in bothsoftware and hardware, especially the establishment of the service on efficient onlineplatforms which is provided by telecommunication providers.The study of the mobile-banking begins with the understanding of concepts,standards, and the status qua of the E-banking and its related online environment. Inaddition, the clear view about the corelation between E-banking and credit cards as wellas the debit cards is also a prerequisite of this study. Such information would lay a crucialfoundation on this research.Mobile banking includes the service of online banking, apart from which it alsoincludes the flexibility that would not be possibly achieved in online-banking. The mostprosperous application of mobile banking is the mobile payment services which would befurther classified in this article. The aim of this classification is to investigate how CGBcould win potential clients with mobile-banking.The mobile banking provided by CGB is of one of the most advanced in the currentbanking industry. It is certainly true that there is still plenty of improvement in CGBmobile-banking service. This article would employ SWOT analysis to compare the CGBmobile-banking with its counterparts in other banks so as to give full play to the merit ofthe service and take control of the its weakness.Mobile-banking is put into service earlier in Japan, Korea, European countries andNorth America, although the mode of operation and key business are quite differentamong these countries. Therefore, an analysis and investigation of these markets wouldbe essential for the development of the mobile-banking in China. What the developedcountries have been through in mobile-banking service could be studied by Chinesebanking industry, thus it would possibly help to avoid some obstacles. In this way, itwould be beneficial to pave road for Chinese mobile-banking. As surveys shows, the concern that haunted most of the clients is the security ofmobile-banking. As people increasingly store personal information on smartphone, thesecurity problem of fund and credit would incur not only the financial loss to clients butalso the damage of reputation that is established through years of hard work among banks.Hence, this issue should be the core and drive of the future development. In last decade,mobile-banking has developed tremendously but it still needs to be improved, especiallythe mobile-banking service for institutions and corporations, which would be likely tobecome a major focus for mobile-banking’s the future development.In a nutshell, mobile-banking is a service of great potential. As time goes by, topopularize mobile-banking would significantly instill vitality into the banking industry,which would in turn contribute to the wide application of mobile-banking in various field.
