Effect Of Coal Marketization On Operating Cost In Zhangshan Power Plant And Its Countermeasures

Since2002, many power plants suffer from high coal cost and low income due tothe liberalization of the coal and the electricity prices. This situation is especially seriousfor the power plants in South-central Shanxi, and even many of them have a big deficit.This thesis takes Zhangshan Thermal Power Plant, which is the typical electricpower generation enterprise in the South-central Shanxi, as the study object, the mainwork and the primary achievements presented in the thesis are as follows.(1)The changing trend of the operating cost during recent years, and the costcomparison between Zhangshan Plant and other powe plants in North Shanxi, are firstlyanalyzed. Furthermore, the causes for the continued loss of Zhangshan Power Plant, andthe reason why the polarization between the south and the north areas exists, are studied.(2) Aiming at the internal management mechanism, a series of measures about thedynamic cost monitoring&control, and the coal mixing improvement are then prososedto solve the operating problems of the power plants in South-central Shanxi.(3) Aiming at the external market mechanism, several contermeasures such as solingthe electricity with different prices in south and north Shanxi, forming a reasonable coalsupply-comsumption mechanism, expanding the profit of the output electriity, etc. arestudied to make up the deficits and get surpluses.The achievements of the thesis offer a reference for the power plants inSouth-central Shanxi to improve the capability of earning profits and reducing loss,balance the development misdistance with north power plants, and make the de-velopment more sustainable and healthy.
