Application Study Of Milk-run In The Express Industry

With the development of E-commerce, China’s express industry has developedincreasingly. Comparing with abroad, China’s express industry has a late start, but it isdeveloping rapidly; however, with the rapid development, it also exists many questions.Milk-run, as a new logistics delivery mode, achieves success in automobile parts puttinginto the plant logistics, and makes more and more research scholars start to study. Scholarsat home and abroad have carries out extensive researching on milk-run. However, for avariety of reasons, the cases of enterprises in China successfully implement milk-run arenot a lot and the mode is limited to the automobile parts putting into the plant logistics.Therefore, this article introduces milk-run into express industry, and solves the problemsin express industry on information construction, packing standard and path planning. Thisarticle obtains verification on milk-run how to get the achievement through thecombination of qualitative and quantitative method.Firstly, this article analyzes the development situation of Chinese express industry,researches the theory of milk-run and applies the application of milk-run into expressindustry. And it analyzes the existing problems of milk-run in express industry by a seriesof processes, so that it finds the way to solve the problems. Then, this article builds aframework of enterprise informatization system construction and solves the problem ofinsufficient funds in middle-scale and small-scale express industry enterpriseinformatization system construction. Thirdly, to the needed of milk-run process, thisarticle proposes the idea that the packaging standard is very important and the applicationof container increases efficiency. And lastly, through establishing mode of milk-run inexpress industry, planning and optimization of path effectively reduce cost. This articlevalidates the effectiveness of mode and algorithm by illustrative example.
