Since the1980s (supermarket) is introduced into China since the super market, afternearly30years of development, this retail mode rapid expansion in China, parts and eventends to saturation. At the same time under the influence of China’s economic growth isslowing in recent years and the impact of the rise of e-commerce industry, combined with theland rent, labor costs continue to rise, such as supermarket industry profits space iscompressed, the pace slows significantly, the supermarket industry in China has entered aslow growth period, in the past by scale expansion of extensive growth pattern has come to anend, and more attention to the next stage is store quality, not quantity, so how to improve thebusiness performance, improve the efficiency of revenue profit will become the supermarketbusiness focus.As the research object, this paper S supermarket customer satisfaction oriented, first ofall, through the way of questionnaire investigation, find out the’s operation process in the storelayout, inventory control, scheduling of cashier, such aspects as the main problems, combinedwith field investigation of S supermarket, analyses the causes of the problem. Then use amagnet point theory, by methods such as engineering, field management of S supermarketstore layout is optimized to improve, established the new store layout mode; Using ABCinventory control methods, inventory ordering strategy theory to S supermarket inventorycontrol and order model is optimized, develop a new inventory control and ordering strategy;Using the method of linear programming and program analysis and cashier S supermarketcashier scheduling scheme is optimized to improve the operation, made the new cashierscheduling scheme. Finally, using’s performance management system of traffic, the guest unitprice, number of days in inventory, out of stock rate and other indicators and systemsimulation technology to optimize respectively improved store layout, inventory controlmethod and cashier and scheduling scheme is evaluated, the evaluation results show that theoptimized improvement scheme has played a positive effect, and further optimizing theimproved customer satisfaction survey, survey results show that compared with beforeoptimization to improve the overall customer satisfaction improved.Through this article research results show that the industrial engineering technology andmethod is applied to the supermarket, in the operation and improve can effectively optimizethe store layout, store environment improvement; Improve inventory control, reduce operatingcosts; Reasonable scheduling of cashier, improve work efficiency; Establish evaluationsystem, improve service quality, thus promoting the comprehensive operation of a singlesupermarket stores, improve customer satisfaction, reduce operational cost improvementpurpose.
