Photovoltaic industry is different fromother traditional industries, it has unique development path, on the one hand, it had toface overcapacity and excessive competition pressure like other traditional industry, onthe other hand, it has a strong industry growth and still in the early stage of cycle, whichdetermines the industry has unique characteristics of the investment value and riskscoexist. this paper study the photovoltaic industry of LuoYang, and there are six parts.The first is introduction, it contain significance and status. In the second part, the theorysolar energy photovoltaic industry investment risk is analyzed, which includingstructure of solar photovoltaic industry chain, characteristics and advantages of industry,solar photovoltaic technology, risk connotation and characteristics, the theory of riskmanagement and investment, etc. The third part analyzes the current situation of solarphotovoltaic industry and develop tendency of solar photovoltaic industry of ourcountry. Situation and uncertainty of LuoYang solar photovoltaic industry are also beanalyzed. In the fourth part, LuoYang solar photovoltaic industry risk identification isstudied. This part content internal risk and external risk factors of solar photovoltaicindustry. In the fifth part, solar photovoltaic industry investment risk assessment isstudied. In the end of this paper, there are conclusion andprospect, through integrated the above research, result show that LuoYang photovoltaicindustry has certain investment risk, but still has the good investment prospect trend.
