Rapid advance of wireless network technology and mobile devices have raised a newwave of mobile commerce and brought unprecedented development. As a new direction ofmobile business, context-aware has huge market potential and worth researching. Weathercustomers accept this new service and which factors affect people to choose context-awarebecome new research subject. Therefore, this thesis builds a theoretical model that usersaccept the context-aware services. Make an empirical to analyze the relationship betweenthe factors which influence users’ acceptance, and then put forward feasible suggestions.First, it introduces the situation and background of context-aware in domestic andoverseas and set forth the related theory, such as the definition of context-aware, users’acceptance theory. Second, the thesis reviews previous researches and systematicallysummarizes nine factors that affect users to accept the context-aware service from twoparts of context-aware and users. It also establishes a model of TAM-IDT which is thecombination of TAM and IDT. It puts forward the final theory model that users accept thecontext-aware services along with the nine factors and TAM-IDT. Third, it does anempirical analysis with SPSS and LISREL which contains descriptive statistics, reliabilityanalysis, validity analysis and path analysis. Finally, according to the results, it putsforward related suggestions from three dimensions of government, operators and users.We give the advice that government should improve the laws of mobile commerce,support the context-aware service and strengthen the supervision of the operators. Theoperators should improve the hardware and services and so on. As a user, we should knowthe basic knowledge of mobile technology and the related laws, and have the awareness toprotect our privacy.
