With the accelerated pace of opening up China’s financial industry, the domesticbanks are competing for customers and market share each other, competed with theforeign banks. Our business started in the mid1990s, the development has only about20years old. The Mixed Financial of developed countries has nearly160years of history.These two financial are no comparable because of different base. But we can learn fromthe developed countries more mature approach to provide experience for China’scommercial banks to expand the intermediate business. The paper builds a pricing modelof product based on coverage by considering the factors of intermediate businessproducts. Some strategies and suggestions are provided for the intermediary businessdevelopment of China’s commercial banks. The model provides a reference for pricingdecision makers of China’s commercial banks.Firstly, based on the analysis of the characteristics of China’s commercial banks, theintermediate business development theories are summarized. Then, analysis the theory ofintermediate business classification method and the content, characteristics, productcombination strategy, pricing strategy.Secondly, in-depth study of intermediate business of commercial banks relatedtheory, characteristics of the development of intermediate business is analyzed.According to the actual situation of our country current intermediate businessdevelopment of China’s commercial banks, the paper analysis some existing factorswhich hinder the further development of intermediary business, and summarizes theproblems and defects in the intermediate business in the process of development with thecurrent internal and external business environment.Thirdly, the intermediate business development framework is designed to promotethe development of intermediate business. The framework is further subdivided basedexisting markets. By introducing product coverage factor, the pricing model ofintermediate business is provided based on products coverage, which improveseffectively the original intermediate business pricing model through the case study. Finally, in order to ensure the development of intermediate business a good effect inthe application, some measures that ensure the implementation of the development ofintermediate business of commercial banks are provided from the brand building, channelconstruction, evaluation and innovation mechanism, risk prevention, improve marketsupervision.
