Small to micro-sized enterprises are playing an increasingly importantrole in our national economy. However, their surviving environment isinfluenced by the stagnant macro-economy. Since different growth stages ofthese enterprises have different features, it is hard for them to get sufficient orefficient loan support from commercial banks only if they have met the basicrequirements set by the banks, which means they should firstly develop withtheir own advantages like products, technologies, channels and etc. Stimulatedby the supporting policies from the government, the surviving environment forsmall to micro-sized enterprises has been improved. The financing channel hasalso been expanded since an increasing number of commercial banks have paidmore attention to the relevant field. Banks view the credit business of small tomicro-sized enterprises as the new growing point of both business scale and profit. And reforms aiming at better financing service for these enterprises areconducted at different stages of the credit business.Based on the learning of the existing operation process of both domesticand overseas banks, the article focuses on the innovation of credit businessprocess. The article also analyzes the loan factory pattern of a certain bank todo the research on the innovation of credit business process for the small tomicro-sized enterprises. Based on the use of corporation reengineering theory,the author has put forward several ideas of optimization in terms of productinnovation, staffing, digitalization of process and etc which hopefully couldhelp meet the financing needs of small of micro-sized enterprises better.
