Application Research On Quality Cost Based On Product Category

With the quality cost management, Enterprises can constantly improvethe existing quality management system to maintain the sustainabledevelopment in the current predicament.Based on S company, a company without any application of quality costmanagement, quality cost classification, cost data collection and allocation,quality cost model, curve estimation, quality cost structure analysis andoptimization is studied in this thesis.Firstly, by analyzing the current status of S company’s quality costmanagement, the main problems in quality cost are summed up.Secondly, the quality cost data collection system is studied. Accordingto the current status of S company’s quality cost, to confirm the data range ofquality cost, to make quality cost data allocation rules, and to get quality costanalysis data based on product category of S company.Thirdly, the quality cost regression application model is researched andanalyzed. By comparing with typical models of quality cost, to establish thequality cost model of S company, and by using the software of IBM SPSS toget the effective function of quality cost.Finally, application is researched on quality cost based on productcategory. Through the curve estimation of quality cost for different kinds ofproducts, to get the best quality cost level and least quality total cost of Scompany, to determine the optimization strategy of quality cost management,to optimize the quality cost of products.This analytical method is not only applicable to S company, but also isgood application reference to those enterprises with product diversificationand weak accounting foundation on quality cost.
