In order to further accelerate the development of thetourism industry of Hebei, give full play to its important strategic guidance and leadingrole, by the end of2012, under the impetus of the Hebei provincial government formallyestablished the formation of Hebei LT group. In this context, this paper focus on theenterprise has formed the " Hebei LT general idea of the Group’s development strategy "under the framework of research and development of enterprise business portfolio strategyto ensure that businesses can continue to follow the established goals, stable and orderlydevelopment.In this paper, Hebei LT Group as a research object, using a combination of presentsituation and problems of business strategy and operational synergies and other relatedtheories on existing business portfolio companies, corporate business developmentenvironment, market demand research and analysis, and proposed business combination ofcompanies strategy.First, through the development of the enterprise ’s own situation and various businesssegments, business units of research and analysis, to find and analyze a company’sexisting portfolio of businesses that exist in the core business of industrial development isnot clear, poor operating results, with its own assets difficult to match, some weakprofitability of business units take up a lot of corporate resources, business development ofdecentralized business units, the synergy between the low level of overall competitivenessof the poor and other issues.Second, outside the enterprise through the political, economic, social, technicalanalysis of the macroeconomic environment, that companies have a good externalenvironment and development opportunities; through "tourism, real estate, hotel," threebusiness segments in which the development of the industry and future trends in research tofind out the availability of certain areas of tourism resources may exist between the three sectors of the interaction between the three business segments for enterprises to establish agood collaborative development environment infrastructure; development conditionsthrough their own research analysis, that the enterprises in the policy support, brandinfluence, financial security and strategic cooperation have certain advantages in theirgrasp tourism resources professionals in areas such deficiencies.Third, through the enterprise " Central Capital Region, ring the capital region,Qinhuangdao, well-known attractions area " four key development area, tourists motivesand needs analysis to determine the enterprises in different regions of the needs of themarket positioning, that ring capital Region, should establish a " vacation, recreation,culture and technology, agriculture, tourism, ecological endowment, sports health " as thetheme of the tourist complex, tourist resort town; ring the capital region should buildtourist resort town, to meet people’s entertainment capital and purchase of a second homedemand; Qinhuangdao areas should build to the cruise yacht marina theme, featuresleisure, fitness and entertainment, business and exhibition, tourism, high-end residentialand other functions as one of the marine tourism enclave; known attractions area,addressing regional integration within the existing tourism resources and management toenhance and improve the catering and accommodation facilities and services, mining areafolklore, historical and cultural resources, promote tourist spending to upgrade, developtourism and cultural arts activities, the establishment of the formation of a " well-knownattractions "as the core attractive tourist complexes and tourist resort town.Ultimately, the proposed Hebei LT Group’s business portfolio strategy choice, that is,from "attraction investment and management, tourism and business investment inagriculture, tourism and cultural industry investment and management, cruise yachtindustry investment and management" four business units as the core of tourism sector to "Residential real estate investment and development, pension property investment anddevelopment, property management," three business units as the core real estate sector,with " city hotel investment and management, tourism, hotel investment and management,hotel output management, social catering services " four business units as the core of thehotel sector, three business segments consisting of a combination of new businessstrategies. Meanwhile, the relationship between the various business units were analyzed toestablish a project-based portfolio model portfolio strategy and corporate synergy,feasibility and superiority were analyzed.
