Our Country Social Security Expenditure Impact On The Residents’ Consumption Of Empirical Research

The growth of the national economy mainly rely on investment, consumption and export the three demands, consumption plays a basic role in it. For over 30 years of reform and opening-up, China’s rapid economic growth, but from the three demands to drive economic growth, in most of the year investment’s contribution to the growth is the largest consumption did not play its role in economic growth. In the long run, to maintain long-term and stable development of economy of our country, the need to rely on endogenous motivation is to boost consumer demand, which requires the adjustment of economic structure, fully release consumption potential. Expanding consumption is one of the most important aspects to improve the social security system, improve the residents’ willingness to spend and consumer expectations, reduces the risk of residents for the future uncertainty caused by the will of the precautionary savings, so as to fundamentally improve the livelihood of the people, expanding domestic demand. Therefore, this article explores our country social security expenditure and consumer ‘s relations, through the econometric analysis model further analyzing of the social insurance fund expenditure impact on urban residents’ consumption, for the government to determine the fund of social security system in all kinds of scale and scope.In this paper, using a combination of theoretical research and empirical analysis, further study of the social insurance fund expenditure to the influence degree of the urban residents’ consumption expenditure. First of all, the related literature at home and abroad were reviewed, understanding the present situation research; Secondly, by analyzing the western classical consumption theory, from the theoretical analysis of the social security expenditure on the influence factors of residents’ consumption; Again, through the empirical data to the current situation of the residents’ consumption of our country and current situation of social security expenditure, and find problems existing in the current social security system in our country. On this basis, using time series data, through the empirical study of the social security expenditure and the relationship between residents’ consumption and the influence of different support type on the residents’ consumption.In the empirical study, in the fourth chapter firstly USES the time series data from 1990 to 2013, the social security expenditure and the demonstration analysis on the relationship between the residents’ consumption. Analysis shows that in both the long and the short term, the social security expenditure has obvious promoting effect on residents’ consumption, increased social spending helped residents’ consumption. In the fifth chapter, using the time series data from 1993 to 2013, a further analysis of the social insurance fund expenditures impact on urban residents’ consumption level. Research shows that in the long term basic endowment insurance and medical insurance for urban residents consumption have obvious positive effect, the contribution rate of effect on consumption is increasing; And the unemployment insurance fund and fund of inductrial injury insurance expenditure has a positive effect on urban residents consumption in the short term, from the point of contribution rate of consumption, the contribution rate of inductrial injury insurance although most, but is not stable and has a declining trend over time, unemployed insurance minimal contribution rate of consumption, the relationship with few contributors in directly. Therefore, consummates our country social security system has been proved by empirical study, increase social insurance costs, especially improve the endowment insurance and medical insurance spending more to help stimulate the consumer, so as to expand domestic demand, promoting national economy grow steadily. But at present our country social security system is not perfect, there exist many problems, such as not enough financial support, low level of social security, there are gaps in between regions and between urban and rural social security. Based on the results of this article, therefore, to further improve the social security laws and regulations, increase financial investment proportion, increase the social security fund accumulation, balance urban and rural social security system, improve the level of social security, so as to achieve the purpose of stimulating consumption, expanding domestic demand, to make our country social security system really become a safety net of social stability and economic development of the stabilizer.
