Iron and steel industry is an important part of our national economy, China is the world’ s biggest steel-producing countries, is the world’s largest steel consumer. With the developme nt of iron and steel industry and the diversity of the iron and steel industry, special steel dem and is increasing gradually. Experience of the developed industrialized countries shows whe n steel industry step into mature period, special steel industry will enter a period of rapid dev elopment, and become the new sunrise industry in the iron and steel industry.In this paper, on the basis of introducing FuShun Special Company and steel industry, w e analyze relevant financial theory from some literature at home and abroad. By using audite d financial data of Fushun Special Steel from 2009 to 2013, we give a brief analysis of the fi nancial data, then comparatively analyze the company’s operating performance and financial status from different periods, comprehensively analyze the company’s profitability, solvency, and development capacity. On this basis, using correlation analysis methods, such as Radar map and Dupont, evaluates the company’s comprehensive financial performance. Finally, wit h financial matrix analysis method and factor analysis method, the company’s financial activi ties and problems are diagnosed.by which we put forward some conclusions and recommend ations for policy makers.
