| As an important impetus for economic growth, investment in Panshan county plays an important role in the development of Panjin’s economy. However, in the upgrading of economic transformation, investment structure has a vital position. The irrational structure of the regional investment will lead to slow and unbalanced development of the economic structure, so the reasonable development of investment structure is very significant both in theory and practice. Therefore, the research focusing on the investment structure of Panshan County helps to find out the problems in the Panshan county investment, and then measures should be taken to optimize the investment structure of Panshan county. The essay under the background of transformation and upgrading, makes an all-round analysis of the current situation of the investment structure of Panshan County in Panjin city, which takes the investment efficiency as the criterion to verify the investment structure reasonable or not. First of all, it analyzes the current situation of investment structure of Panshan county and the efficiency of using DEA from the source of funds of investment structure, investment industry structure, and investment structure of urban and rural areas drawing the conclusion of the relative importance of investment structure.
