In the 21st century, cooperation has become the norm form of society. In the modern organization, employees spend a greater proportion of time working in teams (Ilgen,1999), Team-based business has become an important form of enterprise development. In the new era, innovation-driven development is the requirement of enterprise development, so how to improve the team creativity becomes the key competitive advantage of enterprises. Team members know how to comply with the requirements of team work, becomes increasingly important. For managers, knowing the value tend of the team members has become the key point. Therefore, this paper aims to distinguish how different values affect team creativity and explore effective ways to improve the team creativity, so we can provide solutions to management practices.In this article, the author study the formation mechanism of team creativity through the following two aspects:Firstly, this research from the perspective of personal inclinations, discussing how the individualism/collectivism influence on team creativity. Secondly, taking perspective taking into the mediating mechanism of the relationship, to study whether perspective taking is the mediating variable. Based on the theoretical analysis, we proposed a series of hypotheses. Results indicate that individualism had no significant effect on team creativity, this conclusion should be discussed in the further research. collectivism has significantly positive effect on team creativity, and collectivism demonstrates a higher level of usefulness in team creativity than novelty in team creativity. Further, the mediating effects of perspective taking were partly confirmed, perspective taking act partially mediating effect in the relationship between collectivism and novelty of team creativity, perspective taking act fully mediating effect in the relationship between collectivism and usefulness of team creativity. Through this intermediary mechanism, we unlock the "black box" between collectivism and team creativity, we can provide theoretical guidance about how to effectively enhance team creativity.Finally, on the conclusion of the study, the author discusses the future research directions. And points out that although employees individualism/ collectivism values have a tendency of relative stability, but the managers can still identify the differences, and take the appropriate management measures to enhance the creativity of the whole team.
