The Configuration Of The Supply Chain Under Demand Uncertainty

Since the 21st century, enterprise gradually international, modern market tend to be more dynamic and instability. business transactions become more and more complex, uncertain factors increase gradually, the business risk increased significantly. More and more enterprises realize that the traditional business model has been unable to cope with the rapidly changing external environment. In the global competition environment, the competition between supply chain and supply chain is becoming the mainstream in the competition. It makes the thought of supply chain and supply chain management is able to produce and develop rapidly.Scholars initially focus on the design of supply chain, supply chain inventory, supply chain facilities such as a separate part of the supply chain, but pay less attention to the internal supply chain management and coordination of each part and the global optimization of the supply chain. However, every enterprises in the supply chain has different plans and strategic objectives, the objectives of enterprises may be in conflict with the overall supply chain strategy, leading to horizontal and vertical competition between supply chain enterprises, such as vertical competition reduce the efficiency of the supply chain. From an overall point of view, we want to make each enterprise coordinate each other and achieve benefit maximization in the supply chain. Enterprise requires to use their own advantage resources and other business related resources effectively; we can form a low cost and high technology supply chain, enhance the competitiveness of the enterprises.Based on the global supply chain, supply chain configuration is choice the supply chain execution mode, which have different service time and cost, and through each node execution mode decision, make the whole supply chain to meet certain efficiency.On the basis of the existing theoretical research, we study the vendor selection problem in the process of supply chain configuration under the uncertain demand. Due to the uncertainty of demand, if the order is too much may lead to a surplus of goods; If the order is too little, we can’t meet the demand, go down for a long time can make the loss of customers. Therefore meet the demand of a certain confidence level is presented in this paper to the configuration model of supply chain, and make the total cost of supply chain and the service time effectively trade-offs. Because demand is uncertain, this model can only meet the needs under a certain confidence level, production capacity of the chosen is higher than the maximum of demand. Finally using the computer optimization software to calculation and analysis the model, the corresponding optimization results are obtained.This model of supply chain configuration not only can provide enterprises with related decision support, but also effectively alleviate the supply chain operating pressure brought by the uncertainty of demand.
