Research On The Influence Of Development Of Modern Logistics Industry In Qingdao On Import And Export Trade

Qingdao city is the most influential coastal city in Shandong Province. Located in the Shandong peninsula at the southern coast of jiaozhou bay, it sets of economic, trade, finance, technology and business in one. Furthermore, it is an economic center city. As a coastal city in Shandong Province, Qingdao can make use of its geographical advantages and port advantages to increase the efforts to develop import and export trade. To a certain extent, the development of modern logistics industry and the increase of import and export trade are related to the development of the whole city economy.Modern logistics plays an important role in the import and export trade. And it works as the bridge and the link for the development of import and export trade. At the same time, the rapid improvement of import and export trade has also encouraged the growth of modern logistics industry. Import and export trade optimizes the allocation of resources on a global scale, effectively promotes the construction and development of the economy.This article selects Qingdao as the research object, and it is based on the researches at home and abroad, analyzes the influence of modern logistics industry in Qingdao city on the import and export trade. Based on the data from 2001 to 2013, this paper selects the sum of freight volume and the port throughput as explanatory variable, selects the total volume of import and export trade as explained variable, and uses mathematical method to calculate the impact on the import and export trade. In order to prove that the modern logistics has a role in promoting import and export trade, logistic growth curve model is set up. Through the model equation for marginal analysis and elastic analysis, this article quantifies an exact figure of the pull function on the import and export trade. The smaller development of logistics industry can bring large import and export trade growth. Finally, against the problems existing in the development of modern logistics industry of Qingdao, the paper puts forward to some feasible countermeasures and suggestions to make some contributions to the development of Qingdao modern logistics industry and the import and export trade, to further raise the level of import and export trade in Qingdao.
