Since we entered the new century,with the plentifulness of the physical life spiritual needs rate the first. Tourism is in China ushered in a new spring by people demands and policy of stimulation. In China A-share market, there are many companies set foot in tourism. According to the statistics by Oriental Wealth,32 companies are publicly listed in the plate of tourism. Shang Hai stock market has 13 companies, Shen Zhen stock market has 19 companies. These ones have become the popular stars in capital market. Therefore, the research of profitability analysis of tourism listed companies has important practical significance.Profitability is a key factor that people inside and outside of the corporation pay more attention. In the eyes of outside, investors care about whether it can bring profit. Creditors care about whether they can keep the property safe and earn interests on schedule. Government departments care about whether they can turn in more revenue which may carry out functions. Employees also pay attention to profitability as it involves their self-interest or even whether should work there. Therefore, the research of profitability analysis of tourism listed corporations is very important.There are five chapters in this paper. Chapter 1 is the introduction. Next one is the related concepts and basic theories. Firstly, concepts thetourism listed companies. And then explains profitability and the signs of profitability. Next, summaries the factors which affects the profitability of tourism companies. Lastly, analyses the policies. The analysis of chapter 3 is based on the six signs of profitability and contrastive research of 32 companies.The writer also splits the tourism out 7 subsidy industries. Chapter 4 has splitand analyzed the ROE ratio of CITS, JJIH and Sante. In Chapter 5, the writer digs out the open problem and provides the advice about the profitability of tourism which are based on the analysis of the paper.
