Research On New Urbanization Development Of Mianyang City

Urbanization is the inevitable trend of economic and social development of a country or region. Through the investigation and visit, we found that Meaning city has the advantages of geographical locations, vast technical talent pool and national Technology City. However, there are some problems such as slowly development of economic, shortage of jobs, low levels of public services and Unbalanced regional development because Mianyang city mainly rely on a large number of migrant workersBased on investigation and discussion, the paper mainly concerns the better and the failure of the town in new urbanizationdevelopment process of Mianyang city as a case study. With following the new urbanization develpoment trends of lobalization, market, information and ecological, we give three suggestions for the development of new urbanization in Mianyang city as follows: I. The new urbanization should highlight the development of industries with local characteristics and promote economy and public service under the guide of coordinated development of regional cities and towns. II. Taking the development opportunities of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan and Chengdu-Deyang-Mianyang integration, Mianyang should arrange industry cluster more reasonable and adjust the regional resources, regional infrastructure and public service facilities. III. Focus on the construction of local characteristics industries in small towns, and ehance the urban attraction and creat jobs.Through the study of this paper, the author hopes to further complete the theory of the construction of new urbanization in Mianyang city and also to provide useful reference for the new urbanization construction of Mianyang.
