The Case Of AT’s Acquisition Of AC

M & A is an important means of development of enterprises in order to achieve the rapid expansion of the scale, enhance competitiveness and improve the efficiency of resource allocation. Nowadays M & A frequently occur, but the results are not ideal. In M & A, most of failures result in the poor integration of both sides.This paper takes the case of AT’s acquisition AC as the research object. In the paper, the whole process of the acquisition is analyzed and the background, motivation, integration and performance are discussed systematically. Full text content is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, in which the research background, the purpose, significance,theory basis, research contents and methods are described. The second chapter is to introduce the case of AT’s acquisition of AC, including the introduction and analysis of the two companies, the background and the plan of the case. The third part discusses the merger integration project, including the train of thought, the plan and the integrated measures. The fourth part discusses the performance of the acquisition, including performance evaluation,the successful experience in the problems and solutions. The fifth part summarizes the inspiration during the whole process。This paper considers the success of the acquisition into four factors。One of the preferred partner is the first step to the success of mergers and acquisitions; secondly, the bundle of benefits and target towing is an important factor for successful merger integration; the third is to promote the full range of integration of enterprise culture; Finally, the design and implementation of integration is the security of the whole process.
