The Research Of The Relationship Between Development Of Commercial Banks And Economic Growth In Gansu

According to the research results of the theory of financial development, the development of modern finance plays a positive role in promoting regional economic development. Finance promoted economic growth and development by improving the allocation of capital, encouraging human capital accumulation and technological acceleration. For Gansu Province, one of the most felling behind areas in economic development, and its financial markets remain the dominant architecture by the commercial banks, and the province of corporate financing mainly through the indirect means of financing commercial bank credit. Therefore, in order to promote economic development in Gansu Province can achieve greater breakthroughs to improve the province’s long-term economic growth, study the correlation between the province of Gansu commercial banks and regional economic growth on a positive practical significance.By collating and summarizing the literature of the domestic and foreign theory researches of the relationship between commercial banks and economic growth, find the way of how finance influences the increase of economic. According to the theory I put forward reasonable theoretical assumptions about the relationship in Gansu Province. In order to verify the theoretical assumptions, based on the data between 1988 and 2012 in Gansu Province, I carried out an empirical analysis reached the following conclusions:First of all, commercial banks scale development factor impact is significant and positive correlation in the development of economics in Gansu. Second of all, economic growth in Gansu Province, Gansu Province, in turn, promoted the efficiency of commercial banks. Finally, based on empirical research I provided practical policy recommendations for the government in Gansu and the commercial banks in Gansu.
