Since the 1990 s, Russian enterprises’foreign direct investment began to grow rapidly. With the further deepening of economic globalization, Russian companies are involved increasingly in the competitions of the World economic market. Due to the impact of the world economic crises after 2008,foreign direct investment of Russian enterprises slightly went through withdraw, then soon restored with the growth rate decline.Central Asia has always been Russia’s traditional sphere of influence and the core benefitsRussia will must defend. Russia’s influence in Central Asia is reflected in both historical heritage under the governance of Russia and the Soviet system andthe existence of Russia in the economic and military fields of Central Asia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.In addition, Russian companies’overseas expansion in Central Asia is also worthy of attention. Russian enterprises’investmentsin Central Asiaconcentrateinresourve field. Investors are mainly of the first tier, mostly large enterprises and state-owned enterprises. But in recent years due to insufficient strength of Russian enterprises and the uncertainty of Central Asian situation, Russian enterprises’ investments in Central Asia went into the development of long-term low-speed range.This paper provides a bottom-up regionalization perspective,corresponding to the top-down regionalism, by exploring the economic impact of the Russian business in Central Asia, to propose a solution for economic cooperation with Central Asia.
