Study On Small And Medium-sized Retail Business Enterprise Inventory Management Performance Evaluation

With the introduction of relevant policies that country encourages SMEs, more and more SMEs appear in various industries, bringing an important role in promoting economic development. In the fierce market competition, a number of new businesses continue to emerge, while, many companies have disappeared. It is not difficult to explore the reasons for the disappearance of these companies; the reason is companies’ funding strand breaks. Further analysis shows that the inventory backlog is commonly caused by these enterprise funds strand breaks. This means the inventory management plays an important role in the overall financial management of the enterprise.Inventory management performance not only affects the overall cost of the supply chain, but also restricts the performance of the entire supply chain. Thus, the supply chain inventory management attracts more and more attention. To improve supply chain inventory management, we must firstly understand their performance levels, understand the current management situation, in order to develop strategies and improve inventory management.Currently, inventory management performance evaluation is still confined to the financial indicators of performance evaluation, but other important factors are not prominent on inventory management, especially factor information sharing and personnel management. Evaluation results of operations mainly reflect the inventory level of performance and the lack of a comprehensive inventory management element analysis. Therefore, the existing inventory management performance evaluation index system has limitations.For the lack of current research e, through access to a large number of references, combined with the characteristics of small and medium sized retail business inventories, we propose to build evaluation from four aspects,financial, customer, internal operations, and learning and growth system and contains the results of the inventory management, operational activities and the support level of performance evaluation,building the model of inventory management performance with fuzzy analytical hierarchy process(FAHP), analysis model application. At last, the analysis of the database design use the powerdesigner, implement the database with SQL SEVER 2000; implement inventory management performance evaluation system with PowerBuilder9.0.
