Inventory management is an important part in the supply chain management, which is the key both to achieve both enterprises collaboration and the integrated management. The quantity of the inventory influences the whole chain's performance in supply chain management model. They have to sustain a highly safe stock level to ensure their service level when the demand of a single node and the order fulfillment lead-time are random. Thereby it caused a highly safe stock level and the stock costs. It is vital to formulate a reasonable inventory control strategy to assure the service level and reduce stock cost.The dissertation points out the background and the significance of the topic. It analyzes the status and developing direction of the supply chain multi-echelon inventory management. Following the introduction of supply chain management theory and inventory theory, it analyzes and compares the VMI, JMI and CPFR systems. Pointing out the relations of the uncertainty and the inventory in the supply chain, and proposes several solute methods to eliminate the bullwhip effect on the basis of the analysis of the reasons of the bullwhip effect.Through the details of the theory and methods of multi-echelon inventory theory, On the condition that demand and lead time are both randomly, the article studies a multi-echelon inventory system, which combines a single-core manufacturer , multiple suppliers and multiple retailers together. Suppliers use (s,S) strategy to manage inventory, where the manufacturer and retailers by continuous review installation stock (Q,r) policies. Optimization function of the system has been established in the object of minimizing expectation total cost of system running during each planning period. The performance evaluation of inventory control in supply chain is a part of performance evaluation. Considering the complexity and specificity of inventory management environment, this dissertation makes certain the rate of the evaluating index. At the same time, multi-level fuzzy synthetic evaluation model based on entropy weight was established. Through performs the evaluation stock control for four supply chains in a core enterprise, The evaluation result proves that the proposed method be in accordance with the objective.
