Research On Ecological Quality Evaluation Of Electromechanical Product Based On Life Cycle Assessment

The electromechanical products have made a great contribution to China’s economy, but at the same time, large amounts of resources are drained and the environment is damaged. In September 2013, premier Xi pointed that green mountains and clean waters are as same as, or even more important than the mountains of gold and silver, which strongly demonstrates the attitude and determination of our party and government’s building an environment-friendly society. The ecological quality is a new concept, including the impact from the ecological side, it broadens the meanings of quality. This exactly embodies the concepts of a green, circular and low-carbon development. This paper studies the electromechanical product ecological quality, using the methodology of LCA, makes some conclusion from the example of color TVs, aims to open up a new path which is beneficial to ecology, economy and society all. The main contents are as follows:1. It overviews the theory of electromechanical product, quality and life cycle assessment, clarifies the concept of quality, its development and the research on LCA methodology and tools. The problems to be solved are found through analyzing and comparison.2. The evaluation system is built from the aspects of ecology, economy and the society. It has 17 index including global warming, acidification, nutrient enrichment, etc. It provides an exhaustive evaluation model and calculation method though inventory analysis and AHP.3. Color TVs are studied as examples, the data of ecology, economy and society are collected through LCA, comparison, calculation, assumption and questionnaires. After analyzing and discussion, it concludes that the using phase of color TV has the biggest ecological impact, accounted for 68.20% of all the processes of color TV; global warming is most effected, accounted for 99.38% of all the ecological impacts; the cost of enterprise ranks highest among all the economy impacts with a 58.25%;as for the aspect of society, consumers are most satisfied with the sense performance which occupies 48.33%.In the end, policies and advise are given to the government, enterprises and consumers.
