Mobile telecommunication technology is developing every day and it makes mobile phone becomes more and more important in people’s daily life. People communicate to each other rely on mobile phones communication features, such as voice service, mobile internet, instant message (IM), social network, picture transferring, video sharing etc. Mobile phone quality links to people’s life, so continue improving mobile phone quality is important and meaningful.Based on product life cycle theory, we raise up mobile phone product life cycle including concept phase, development phase, mass production phase, end of life phase. We manage mobile phone product by program management mode in mobile phone enterprise. Program need make right decision based on product innovation, time, and quality. Each phase should archive certain level criteria then can enter next phase.We based on theories and ideas in mobile phone business to summarize the definition, figure, factor of quality. Field failure rate is the most important figure of quality. Quality improvement actions are based on each phase product status. Archive certain quality level is each product life cycle phase major criteria.Based on long period working experience in mobile phone business, we practice overall quality management method in N206mobile phone whole product life cycle. We got analysis conclusion, lessons learnt, experience etc. based on this practice. Also make continue improving for this quality management method.Finally we summarized mobile phone quality management method based on product life cycle theory, shared our experience and lessons, point out positive and negative points, hope this quality management method can be the reference of mobile phone business.
