Since reform and opening up, the family enterprise vigorous development, for our country made great contribution to economic growth and employment increase. Family enterprises at home and abroad, however, the inheritance of history more than once told us that the fact that nearly 70% of family businesses have failed to pass to the next generation, if you want to move beyond the edge than to think hard. In this process, the incumbent seeking to having both ability and political integrity, and conforms to the successor of the company’s future development needs is a top priority.In this paper, we explore the standard of the family business to choose a successor, as well as the factors that influence the entrepreneurs children succession will hope that through this article research is able to provide family business to choose a valuable references successor. In this paper, by using literature analysis, case analysis, empirical analysis on the method of combining according to ask questions, analyze and solve problems of train of thought for the research question. First analysis the influence factors of family business to choose a successor, principles, procedures, etc., argument "son" is the mainstream trend of our family enterprises between generations, and introducing the theory of planned behavior to explain their children’s behavior, established the basis of this study; And then the positive influence on children and successor of interviews succession will mainly have the family sense of responsibility, personal interests and professional knowledge, the expectations of the family, the relationship between the family harmony, family, the prospect of the development of family enterprises, the spirit of good corporate culture and the external environment pressure. In this paper, the following main conclusions: first, the argument "son" is the mainstream of the intergenerational inheritance pattern of family firms in China, based on the interviews with business owners to extract the successors of the family business to choose the main standard in the order: entrepreneurship, management experience, strategic vision, the same values and good coordination ability, at the same time clear the meaning of these standards for enterprise successor. The two most important factors influencing succession will be the personal interests and family expectations and the advantages and security.
