Study Of The Development Level Of Insurance Industry Based On Clustering And Analysis Of Time Series

In recent years, many scholars have used theory and methods of statistical to explore t he development law of the insurance industry, which has a certain guiding significance for the development of China’s Insurance industry. In this paper, we base on the cluster analysi s and time series analysis to the development level of China’s insurance industry from the macro and micro aspects. First, we select six relatively effective indicators to do cluster an alysis with the insurance industry development level for the ten eastern provinces and citie s so that we can do regional analysis for the Insurance of eastern region of China from mac ro aspect, according to the results,we divide the ten provinces into three categories, and the results also show that a larger gap exist in the insurance industry of various provinces and cities, and the industry development is not balanced. Two, we start from the micro issues a nd choose the original insurance monthly premium income of China Life Insurance compa ny from 2004 August to 2011 August as sample, then we do time series analysis by ARIM A model and the auto-regressive model of residual, the results show that the model has a g ood prediction effect, which can provide reference for the supervision and decision-maker of China Life Insurance.
