Research On The Impact Of Corporate Social Responsibility On The Financial Performance In Coal Industry

With the constantly development of our economy, the problems of corporate social responsibility, especially the impact of corporate social responsibility on the financial performance are more and more extensively attended by society. The high-risk coal industry not only have to undertake the general social responsibility,but also have to assume the particular social responsibility, such as the saving of the resources, the conservation of the environment, the safety production and so on.In the perspective of the coal industry to study the impact of corporate social responsibility on the financial performance in this paper,in order to guide the coal enterprises to treat corporate social responsibility on the vision of the strategic development, and deepen the understanding of the significance of corporate social responsibility, and provide a decision basis for decision makers, thereby assuming corporate social responsibility more actively.In this paper, starting from the basis theory of corporate social responsibility, and analyzed part of the achievements and existing problems in the process of the coal enterprises bearing corporate social responsibility. The core content in this paper is the data analysis part in this paper. firstly, this paper hypothesizes that the coal enterprises assume corporate social responsibility can improve the financial performance of the current period and the late stage. secondly, according to the characteristic of the coal industry, to design the indicators of corporate social responsibility and the financial performance. Thirdly, taking the financial data of 35 A-share listed coal enterprises in the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges as research samples, and analyzing the related data in the description analysis, the correlation analysis and the regression analysis,and verifies the assumptions. At last, specific policy and recommendations are put forward in the respects of the coal enterprises, the government and society according to the conclusions.
