With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the rapid development of market economy, large state-owned construction enterprises face the contradiction of the reform of the internal mechanism and the fierce competition with the private construction enterprise, and is slowly losing the original competitive advantage. In the face of national policy and market environment changes, and the market demand and challenges posed by economic globalization and urbanization, in order to improve the enterprise market share in the market, obtain higher profit and achieve a sustained rapid development, transformation and upgrading of large state-owned construction enterprise need in a timely manner.Paper first elaborated the research background and research significance, and summarized the main content of the thesis research, technical route and research innovation and characteristics. Then introduces the concept of the value chain, value system and strategy, summing up the study of the classification of the value chain and value chain, also summarizes the connotation of enterprise transformation and upgrade, and related research of construction enterprise transformation and upgrading. On this basis,paper analyzes construction market needs and industry value chain, internal value chain of large state-owned construction enterprises and the composition of the global value chain and the existing problems. Aiming at the existing problem of large state-owned construction enterprise value chain system and defects, and sums up the transformation and upgrading of the large state-owned construction enterprises strategy, including technology development strategy, intensive management strategy, strategy of vertical integration and horizontal diversification strategy. In order to improve the correctness of the results and guidance, paper takes Guangxi construction group as an example, analyzes he value chain and existing problems of Guangxi construction group and formulates the strategy of transformation and upgrading of Guangxi construction group and safeguard measures against the problems existing in the develop. Finally concludes the thesis research conclusion and further research direction and content.
