Wood is a kind of important natural resources and which is urgently imported by our country currently. In 2014, amount of wood imported in China reached 76,850,000 cubic meters, a year-on-year growth of 16.9%. The introduction of wood resources not only can effectively alleviate the serious shortage of forest resources in China, but also has important significance for our country’s environmental protection and economic development.Rizhao Lanshan port is the main port of wood importation in Shandong, which almost accounted for half of woods imported. But with the continuous expansion of imported wood, Rizhao Lanshan port met many difficulties to overcome.This thesis study the Rizhao Lanshan port of wood importation operation strategy, and some research results are obtained following:Firstly, we use PEST, SWOT analysis method to analyze the Rizhao Lanshan port of wood importation from the natural and social environment in the external aspects, amd also we carried the scientific analysis on wood importation from the inner aspect of ports. At the same time, we forecast the wood importation of Rizhao Lanshan port with the grey analysis method, which is used to indicate Rizhao Lanshan port must take effective measures to improve the logistics capacity of imported wood in order to meet rising imports.Secondly, with these analysis, we propose in Rizhao Lanshan port the construction of wood quarantine treatment area is an more reasonable plan and also the inevitable choice.We thinks, the construction of wood quarantine treatment area not only can effectively ease the shortage of storage and transportation field problem in the port, also can effectively expand the scope of wood resource countries, which can further expand the number of imports of wood resources, and finally improve Lanshan Rizhao Port core competition of wood importation.Thirdly, according to the actual needs of the construction of wood quarantine treatment area, we use the location relationship model to study the wood quarantine treatment area and other supporting facilities, at the same time, based on comprehensive study of natural geographical conditions of Rizhao Lanshan port, this thesis made a scientific and reasonable facility arrangement.Finally, we also study logistics performance of imported wood in Rizhao Lanshanports, we mainly uses the level analysis(AHP) method combined with the fuzzy comprehensive analysis. In the study, with consulting the relevant professional investigation and reading lots of related information, we use 17 important reference index of logistics performance to evaluate the performance of wood logistics. And firstly, AHP analysis is used to mark these index weight. Secondly, questionnaire were given to some professionals invited to investigate and we achieve expert evaluation for three port importation performance of wood. Finally, the fuzzy comprehensive analysis is used to evaluate the results quantitatively. Assessment of the Rizhao Lanshan port, Lianyungang port and Qingdao Port about imported wood logistics performance are obtained, and their comprehensive evaluation score are 82.77, 82.44 and 85.03 respectively.This is the first time to use AHP and fuzzy comprehensive analysis on imported wood logistics performance study. Of course, for the experts used in survey sample are different,there are no internal consistency, thus we think larger capacity of sample is required for precise analysis and to innovate the model here.But the research result of this thesis can be regard as the important reference to improve Rizhao Lanshan port wood importation.
