With the globalizatio, many enterprises have entered international market. The ralationship between internationalization and corparate performance has gradually become the focus of academic. Relevent research were mainly focused on developed countries, researches towards developing countries were far less. Chinese enterprises are also entering the golbal market with a primary stage, export is the main way, therefore, discussion on the influences of export to the enterprise performance has very strong realistic meaning and practical value.To study the issue, this paper conclude former views and shortage, then theoretical analysis is counducted from two perspectives of benefit and cost, based on relevent theories and combined with status and characteristics of export. Emprical study is base on 183 IT enterprises from 2008 to 2012,with two methods of comparision and control.The research found that:initially, listed IT corparats in China are mainly at a low level of export. Subsequently, through the comparison of export enterprises and non-export enterprises, there is no much difference in roe, while ros of export enterprises is lower, in aspect of corparate size, export enterprises are larger than non-export enterprises.Finanlly, export has negative impact to corparate performance, specifically:export has negative impact to the ros and roe of corparate.
