The Modern Logistics Industry, known as “the Third Profit Source", has become one of standards which measure a country’s modernization level and international competitiveness, and is very important in national economy. With the development of the Modern Logistics Industry, the constructions of Logistics Park have its spring. Logistics Park has developed for decades in foreign countries. However, it is too young that the development is not balanced. Although the construction of Logistics Park can learn from the experience for foreign, it is only combined with the actual situation of the region to obtain the good effect of planning and construction. Hence, it is important to actively promote the research of the Logistics Park’s scale. This thesis mainly studies the scale of construction plan of Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Hengyang City. The core contents include two parts, forecasting of logistics quantity and calculation of the scale. Firstly, reading the theories of domestic and international logistics park, we plan the Agricultural Products Logistics Park in Hengyang City. Secondly, the thesis uses the grey prediction model by optimizing the initial conditions and the Markov chain to improve the goods amount of Logistics Park, and get prediction results. Thirdly, the thesis analyzes four methods’ advantages and disadvantages, and uses Space-time Consumption Method and Functional Zoning Method to calculate the scale of Logistics Park. It checks the Logistics Park scale by using analogies. Last, it summarizes the research work completed in this paper, and point out the places that need to be studied further.
