Research On Economic Development Model Of Zhengzhou Airport Area

The 21st century has witnessed the increasingly deepened cooperation of economic globalization and regional economy, and the airport is no longer a place for the transport of passengers and goods in the traditional sense, rather, it is a new engine in promoting regional economic development with highly concentrated economic characteristics and attraction to many airport directional industry. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop the global Airport Economy around airport for the configuration of the high-end factors of production and the upgrade of national and regional competitiveness.Airport Economy has achieved a huge success worldwide, but in China the development is still in its infancy. Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai, relying on three major airport hubs, are taking the lead in the economy development and thus boosting the economy of the hinterland. Around the airport forms the directional industry parks and logistics industrial parks; Commercial and business economics also begin to rise at the airport economic zone; So they provide a good role to underdeveloped area. Our practice takes first in the exploration of the airport economic development, but the in-depth study of the airport economic theory is insufficient. With the increasing awareness of the central and local government into the leading role of the Airport Economy, the professional system research and deepening understanding about Airport Economy is particularly necessary.The aviation economic comprehensive experimental zone of Zhengzhou is the first and only national strategy of economic development approved by the State Council. It plays a vital significance on the reform of the airport economic development and acts as an important opening base of the central region as well as a new growth point in Henan province’s economic social development. Therefore, the exploration of its strategic positioning, development patterns and industrial layout plays an important role on promoting the central region’s industrial upgrading and development pattern, exploring new ways to expand opening-round construction of opening inland, building strategic breakthrough in the central zone, and driving the coordinated development of new urbanization, industrialization and modernization.This article firstly gives a brief introduction on the existing airport economic theory as the theoretical basis, and secondly sorts out the mature form of air port and development experience at home and abroad. Thirdly, it predicts the future trends and strategic position of the Zhengzhou Air Port, and explores the suitable development model of Zhengzhou Air Port combined with evidence. Finally, this article will give policy recommendations to the development of Zhengzhou airport economy.
