| Progress and application of agricultural technology plays an important role in improving the efficiency of agricultural production, transforming the mode of agricultural production, adjusting agricultural production structure, breaking through the resources and environment constraints and developing the agriculture and rural economy. Research on agricultural science and technology in China has achieved a large number of scientific results, but the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements is lower in the practical application of agricultural technology. YongChang County is a large agricultural county, known as "the Granary in HeXi Region ". Along the cold irrigation area among mountains, because of the limitation of terrain and climate, YongChang County has single crop planting structure. So increasing farmers’ income has become difficulty. YongChang County developed edible fungus industry as a special advantage industry in 2004, which has played an important role in adjusting agricultural structure and increasing farmers’ income. Planting edible fungi is an effective path to develop water-saving agriculture, ecological agriculture and recycling agriculture. Edible fungi cultivation technique has the characteristics of technology-intensive, labor-intensive and resource-intensive. Farmers’ mastery level of technology directly relate to the benefit of the edible fungus cultivation. This thesis focuses on researching factors affecting households’adoption of stereoscopic cultivation techniques of edible fungus from the perspective of farmers. This thesis has practical significance in strengthening the stability and sustainable development of the edible fungus industry.On the basis of relevant literature about farmers’technology adoption behavior, this thesis combined with the development situation of edible fungus industry and the situation of farmers’ adoption of edible fungus cultivation techniques in YongChang County. From the microcosmic perspective, the thesis takes the farmer behavior theory, Lewin’s psychology field theory, the induced agricultural technology transformation theory and the theory of innovation diffusion theory as guide. Firstly, the thesis makes descriptive statistics analysis on the statistical data. Secondly the thesis uses the SPSS 17.0 statistical software and binary Logistic regression model to study on the influence factors of households to adopt edible fungus stereoscopic cultivation techniques.Through empirical analysis, this thesis concludes the following conclusion:the financial conditions of households, the scales of edible fungus cultivation, households’ knowledge of edible fungus cultivation techniques or master degree, whether farmers accept edible fungus cultivation technical guidance or technical training, the satisfaction of farmers to adopt the subsidy policy have significant effects on edible fungi stereoscopic cultivation technique. Householder age, educational level, whether as village cadres, the number of workforce, planting time, the cognition to the expected returns, edible fungus cultivation techniques and so on multiple factors don’t have significant effects on edible fungi stereoscopic cultivation technique in the econometric model, and these factors’ influence need further research. According to the research results, this thesis puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:to strengthen the edible fungus cultivation technique service and technical training; to increase funding of edible fungus cultivation and take policy as guidance; to carry on large-scale cultivation and industrialization; to use multi-channel to dispersion the risk of technology adoption and encourage households to adopt new technology. |
