With the development of the science and economy, Internet has been playing an important role in the rapid development in all parts of life. At the same time, the ancient grain industry has also experienced the big reforms, the e-commerce of grain came out to the world, the information technology of grain industry has become the important part of development. With the application and development of e-commerce, the business model in the environment of e-commerce has become the focus of attention. Some reports about e-commerce shows that the lack of business models will seriously hinder the development of e-commerce, and it will increase the difficulty of enterprise management. The competitive by e-commerce environment has been transformed from competitive of products to competitive of business models.CNGRAIN is the holding company of China Grain Reserves Corporation. It is a provider integrated with grain e-commerce services, information service, price dissemination, and technological development. We have tried electronic trading platform and information services and other business models. Information services subdivided into custom membership services, information services and other value-added business model. With the fast development, the information service system has occupied an important position in industry, however, it also faces the bottleneck. CNGRAIN’s information services business model needs to innovate, its innovation and exploration will bring far-reaching implications for the future development of e-commerce and companies.Therefore, this article is mainly engaged in the actual work of the author, using case study approach to CNGRAIN mainly to study of its information services’ new business models- one to one information consulting service, and may get the following conclusions:The custom and passive business models of information services by CNGRAIN have many shortcomings, they need for new business models to improve the market conditions information products urgently.The one to one information consulting service is in line with the development of e-commerce business model innovation programs. Information services should develop from the traditional transmission of information to solving customers’ needs. Adhere to customer-oriented, focusing on customer needs, highly integrated information and improve service efficiency.The one to one information consulting service model is the best solution and to improve the status of information services for CNGRAIN. Changing the ideas of information service, focusing on the production of boutique information, fully tapping the customer needs, helping the customers to solve their problems are the important thing to us. There is need a change about the brand appeal of CNGRAIN from ’grain industry portals’ to ’grain information Supplier ’. In the situation of the resources and market environment of CNGRAIN, this business model should be try.
